The food in German schools is usually prepared in large kitchens and is thus not halal. Most people in Germany do not know what "halal" means. However, it is possible to order vegetarian food in most cases.
If halal is important you don’t register your child for lunch at school. Give your child a sufficient food and beverages (in plastic bottles) with from home.
You can talk about problems with the class teacher, at the parents' meeting or with the class parent representatives.
Similar difficulties have also some German children with food allergies. Here also own solutions are necessary.
